"Novo List", Fiume (Croazia)
The flautist Mario Carbotta superbly mastered his part (Concerto by L. Boccherini op.27), executing a stylistically impeccable performance. (Lovorka Ruck)

"Pùblico", Guadalajara (Messico)
Mario Carbotta charmed the public with his flute. The expressive vigour of the flautist who was likewise able to yield and slow down like on tiptoe then move forward at a faster pace met with the general appreciation of those who were present to the final Concerto for flute and string orchestra in E minor. As a gesture of thanks, the Italian performer executed a fragment from La Traviata. By the end of the performance was the audience fully satisfied. A large public was present at the two premières debut performances in the city and let themselves be charmed by the spell that Carbotta cast upon them like the legendary flautist from Hamelin. (Édgar Velasco Barajas)

"Al-Ahram weekly”, Cairo (Egypt)
And it was not for nothing that a virtuoso like Carbotta was selected for the former. He gave an appropiately splendid performance. His melodic directness, rhytmic energy and expressive sense were thrilling, so was his technical mastery of the music. (A. C. Catta)
