Mario Carbotta charmed the public with his flute. The expressive vigour of the flautist who was likewise able to yield and slow down like on tiptoe then move forward at a faster pace met with the general appreciation of those who were present to the final Concerto for flute and string orchestra in E minor. As a gesture of thanks, the Italian performer executed a fragment from La Traviata. By the end of the performance was the audience fully satisfied. A large public was present at the two premières debut performances in the city and let themselves be charmed by the spell that Carbotta cast upon them like the legendary flautist from Hamelin. Mario Carbotta ha incantato il pubblico col suo flauto. Il vigore espressivo del flautista, che si piegava, si alzava o si muoveva davanti al suo leggio, ha riscosso l'apprezzamento generale di quanti erano presenti al concerto finale per flauto ed orchestra d’archi in mi minore. Come gesto di ringraziamento, il musicista italiano ha eseguito un frammento de La traviata. Alla fine gli spettatori erano pienamente soddisfatti: hanno apprezzato i due debutti in città e sono stati completamente soggiogati dall’incantesimo che Carbotta, come il flautista di Halemin, ha saputo creare.
